I’ve been trying and testing a few different techniques to rank my websites. I hope you can use these too!

 • Blogs
 • Articles
 • Socialbookmarketing
 • Linking strategies
 • RSS
 • Feeds
 • Link Exchanging (Not so much, no effect for me)

I mainly focus on articles, socialbookmarking and RSS.

I also use stumple upon in order to get a little bit more free traffic to my blogs and websites.

Here’s 3 easy tips to increase search engine traffic:

SEO Ranking Tip #1:

Build more incoming links from more sites with more authority! Don’t focus on exchanging links… I’ve never tried exchanging links and this site is ranking on page 2 for “internet marketing blog” which has been a keyword I’ve been trying to target. I’ve tried TONS of ways to find interesting ways to increase search engine traffic.

SEO Ranking Tip #2:

Get a Squidoo lens and “boost” that site. Meaning you have “funnel sites”. Hubpages.com and Squidoo.com are good examples of sites I use as “feeder sites/funnel sites”. They are WEB 2.0 sites with already created “page rank” so they easily rank in the SE’s with a couple of Socialbookmarking links!

I try to get a few different, mixed and unique anchor texts for my incoming links. Also use the: Subpage keyword format from your Squidoo lens! Don’t link to the “main site”… why?

You want to get more “overall” incoming links! Get it?

SEO Ranking Tip #3:

You can get a “blogger” or “wordpress” hosted blog that’s already pre-qualified to rank higher in the search engines! This is a little trick that barely requires ANY marketing at all. There are many examples I could give in regards to this method, but I can’t cover them all. Just register at www.blogger.com and put your blog there.

After this, use the tips above to market it and get it ranked FAST. I can get a ranking really, really fast doing this.
