I wouldn't say this is necessarily true at all. Many of my sites rank very fast in the search engines using this method. Not always overnight, but over time… This article is a guideline for people who want to spend the $8 and 1 hour to have an automated website =)

It is true that the website will go up and down in rankings… They are checking bounce rates, stay rates, relevance and a lot more. But if your site is valuable it'll be there to stay.

Well, it is difficult to judge the ranking from only one day. Google applies some randomness in ranking, at the beginning it pushes the domain up, then down, and only after almost a year the ranking is a reflection of the domain and pages.
