Have you ever heard how easy it is to make money as an affiliate? Just put up a page and drive some traffic to the website and you’ll make thousands of dollars overnight, right? Wrong! It just doesn’t work like that… you need a lot more than just a website and some traffic.

The biggest, sometimes most forgotten affiliate strategy is the pre-sell. If you are not pre-selling with either text, video or whatever, then you are missing the boat big time. In order to get the most out of your affiliate sales you need 3 compontents.

• Like
• Trust

Guess which one is the most important factor?

Know? Naah… people buy from random people online everyday, although it really helps.

Like? Nah… people buy from people they don’t like as well, but it sure is a plus. If it’s the only solution, such as Windows, lol, then most people use it even if they don’t like it..

But the biggest ingredient is trust!

If somebody comes to your website with a problem or frustration… and you position your website in a way that is valuable and builds trust with that person you are going to be decreasing the barrier of entry.

The problem is, it’s hard to build trust online. Why? Because so many people are currently misusing trust to take advantage of people and steal their money. This is horrible, as we all know… But it’s a fact.

So in order to build more trust you have to be more transparent and give more value than your competition. Be human if you will. Be an individual with feelings, thoughts ideas and a real life.

Present your offer or solution in the best possible light, but do talk about some of the negative things about your product. Like my Free Traffic Methods product has a lot of flaws, even though it does all it says and more. Free traffic takes a little bit of time and effort to make happen. It’s not the most overnight solution, but it’s the most sustainable in my opinion.

I will make more sales and get more customers by being upfront with this fact, than trying to hide it. Understand?

Now when you are an affiliate you want to increase the trust for YOU, but also the PRODUCT in question. So a good way to do that is pre-sell by doing a video and adding some value to the visitors without expecting any monetary exchange.

Well, once you know this skill, you can use it online to persuade people into checking out your content, products, affiliate links or whatever else you want them to do, based upon their own decision. It sounds crazy, but they will want to see what you are offering when you do this.

Magic Keyword Formula I Used To Rank #1 Google, In Less Than 1 Day!

Check this out. When you go online to drive traffic or make money you are looking at keywords for your research. Nothing new, nothing special, but what if I told you that I recently did about 1 hour of work including research, setting up a blog, filling it with plug-ins and  2 posts.

Nothing special, right… But little did I know it would rank #1-2 (depending on when you search) in the search engines… The keyword gets about 100-200 searches per day according to tools, and it’s in one of the hottest niches out there today, so it’s a money keyword!

Here’s how I find it:

I use Market Samurai and type in the inital “broad keyword” such as, dog training, dog obedience etc (If it’s for the dog niche, which it isn’t by the way.

Then I simply look for 2,000+ searches per month (enough volume to make it worth while with 1% conversion selling $50ish products).

That would be about 20 sales, give or take each month…

But the secret is in the “competing pages”… I look for keywords that have some kind of commercial intent, such as “product name”, or “dog training ebook”, or “dog training device” (great keyword for this example by the way)…

Then I look for it in “quotes” on Google, but Market Samurai will tell me this information with a few clicks (god, gotta LOVE that!)… and you are looking for about 10,000 searches or less…

Then head over to your registrar and register the keyword domain of the keyword that fits those 2 criteria, such as “2,252 searches per month” and “4,252 pages in Google with quotes”.

It could be something like “longtailkeyword.com”…

Then install a wordpress blog on that domain name, and be sure to include All in One SEO pack, as well as Google Sitemaps XML, Tweet This, Stats program, and change the permalinks as well as ping lists.

Then your site is live. Post 2-5 keyword rich articles with affiliate links and watch some free traffic and free money come in =)

Repeat this stuff for as long as you like.

Hope that gives you a little bit of an idea what I do when I get a few spare moments… Then of course, send some freakin’ article traffic, video traffic and whatever other traffic to it

This message will hit thousands, and quite frankly, I’m breaking up with you… What you did hurt me so bad!

One day in my life of social media I discovered some hard cold facts. You (Google) hates ME and all my friends!

Ok, I cheated on YOU first with Twitter, but hey “I’m a freakin Twitter lover!” – And I’m sorry…

Haven’t Been Talking Lately! Been Too Busy Kicking It With Serious Rockstars!

I’ve not posted to this blog in a while… For various reasons, but one of them is because I’ve been having a lot of fun the last 6 months in Los Angeles. I’ve been all over the US meeting some awesome people, marketers of all walks of life.

I’ve been to 3 seminars where I’ve met incredible people that have really helped me, and I’ve built some awesome relationships with people offline… It’s been incredible.

I also helped John with his private $10,000 mastermind event in Malibu California. It was a great hit. I was a speaker and helped people drive unlimited amounts of traffic for free… That felt great! Got to sleep in his 8 bedroom mansion in Malibu…

Also was at Info Summit 2008, which I have forgot to mention on this blog. I went there and met Dan Kennedy, Bill Glazer and Eban Pagan… Actually took a picture with Eban, but my phone was lost in a Cab the other night… Have been trying to get that guy to hand me back the phone, lol…

Then after that it was the Rockstar Platinum event in Las Vegas by Lee Collins, Robbin Collins and Simon Leung where I met Herschy from Quick Video Marketing

who is an AWESOME GUY! Can’t say enough good about him, probably. If you do not have Quick Video Marketing yet I highly recommend it! I’ve just started a new project with all the tricks from Quick Video Marketing, and I’m already doing a steady 20 visitors a day, and upwards of 200-300 views a day, from only 4 videos! Leads are coming in by the truckloads, and I’m VERY passionate about this new project! Thanks Herschy, I took action on your advice and it worked!

Then I went to Mass Control 2.0 in San Diego where I got to hang out with some serious players in the industry. We had an awesome party on the roof tops of Hard Rock Hotel, talked some BS and just chilled… Re-unioned with Herschy, Lee and Robin, Simon and a few more from Vegas…

Then I got to meet Jay Dieboldt from Google Slapper… who freakin’ does exactly the same things I do, but he is far less lazy than me… lol… Also met Ryan Angelo, a freakin’ rockstar hypnotist and motivational guy who is waay cool…

Anyway, in between all this I get to meet Harris Fellman in the office… And John Denton takes a trip over from his hometown only to go see Disneyland…

Just a bunch of crazy stuff… Not only did I meet Jonny Andrews, Craig Beckta, and my friend Alex Jeffreys, who surprisingly was waaaay awesome at partying (I thought he was a little more low key, lol)… Anyway…

I’m back in the biz now, after having taken like a 7 freakin’ month break technically not doing much, (yet still made tons of money, lol) and will help you have the same things I’ve had the last few months… It’s been totally crazy experiences, that’s for sure!

Going to bed now, but if anything, I highly recommend Quick Video Marketing with Herschy… That guys 1 tip I got in Vegas will make me a lot of money the next few months, all from video (which was not that exploered by me…)!
