Watch this video and learn how affiliate marketing works. Or read below the video.
The way affiliate marketing works is extremely simple! Somebody has a product for sale on the internet. This can be anything, such as an eBook or even a car.
You get your own special personalized link, that is called an “affiliate link”. This link is specially coded with your own affiliate ID. This ID is connected to your “affiliate account”, which is credited when a sale is made.
You will be credited whatever the commission is for that product. And with ClickBank, the product commissions are usually 50-75%!
That means if you sell a product for $100 you will get paid, $50-$75. So when you share your link on the internet, and people click it, then make a sale, you will get paid a commission. Some benefits of selling other people’s products is that you don’t have to deal with customer support, or any support what so ever, all you have to “really care about” is collecting the money.
Of course there are some advanced ways to keep all the buyers on email lists etc, so you can follow up with more products that will provide your followers with more benfefits.
So let’s say you sell something about affiliate marketing to somebody as an affiliate, you get $75 commission. You then keep the buyer in a seperate list, by giving them a special bonus, and to get the bonus, they need to give you their email in an opt-in form. So now you have a BUYER on a list! This buyer will be worth a lot more than any other subscribers you have currently… This method of increasing your affiliate sales is an awesome strategy and something I highly recommend you do!
